I walked in without an appointment, only had to wait a few minutes. Dave was very helpful looking up what my item has been sold for. He gave me more then half and only 50 less then what I was asking. Very surprised but also relieved at the same time. A broker or Auction house would've taken half, Dave and 5 Star pawn went over and above to make me feel good about a cherished item I had to part with. My name is Donnie Farlow this was my first time going to this establishment. I 100% endorse 5 Star Pawn and Dave as not being what most people believe about pawning/selling at these establishments. They could be the unicorn of pawn shops, if so think God I went to them. Thank you Dave and 5 Star pawn!

Employee was friendly, and explained how everything went. The store has a sort of comforting environment, and the employees went out of their way to make me feel welcome.EDIT 7/27/2026: Went in today to sell some things, and it hasn't changed. Still friendly, still a welcoming atmosphere. Would strongly recommend coming here.
